On January 24, 2025, the National Payment Certification Agency collaborated with the Social Security Regulator to organize a disseminated workshop on “Preparations for Implementing the Payment Certification System in Cambodia’s Social Protection System.” The event was presided over by Her Excellency PEN Sopakphea – Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chair of the Executive Committee of the National Social Protection Council. The event was attended by representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, as well as public and private health facilities.

The workshop aimed to disseminate plans for the upcoming implementation of a new payment certification system in Cambodia’s social protection framework in the near future.
