Her Excellency Pen Sopakphea, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chair of the Executive Committee of the National Social Protection Council, led a working group from the National Payment Certification Agency to monitor and evaluate the implementation of Health Equity Fund services at public health facilities in Kampot province
On December 2, 2024, Her Excellency Pen Sopakphea, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chair of the Executive Committee of the National Social Protection Council, led a working group from the National Payment Certification Agency to monitor and evaluate the implementation of Health Equity Fund services at public health facilities in Kampot province. On the same day, H.E. and the monitors paid a visit to households holding HEF card in Prey Khmum commune to gather feedback on their experiences with the services. This effort aimed to collect inputs to enhance the further effectiveness of the Health Equity Fund services.

NPCA’s Significant Visit to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) in the Republic of Korea
On April 8 and 9, 2024, Director General of the National Payment Certification Agency (NPCA), led a delegation of NPCA professional officials on a study visit to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) of the Republic of Korea. The delegation aimed to learn and gain experience in preparing a certification system for the entire social health protection system. This aimed to go beyond understanding the experience of the Republic of Korea; the NPCA also seeks to build a strategic partnership with HIRA for future collaboration in developing the NPCA’s certification system, all in support of working towards universal health coverage (UHC).

NPCA Receives 78 Laptops from GIZ to Enhance Institutional Capabilities
The National Payment Certification Agency’s Director General was honored to take part in the signing ceremony for the letter exchange and the handover of 78 computers from the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ). Regards to the GIZ collaboration for supporting with the partnership and donating laptop for NPCA officers’ regularly operations. We sincerely hope that GIZ will continue to support the cooperation and assistance to the NPCA toward the future.
