National Payment Certification Agency
According to Sub-Decree 163 issued by the Royal Government of Cambodia on July 17, 2023, the transformation of the Health Services Payment Certification Agency into the National Payment Certification Agency is equivalent to the General Department under the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
National Payment Certification Agency (NPCA) is an administrative and technical unit responsible for verifying and processing claims for health services and medical services under the Health Equity Fund and the National Social Security Fund.
The NPCA’s roles and responsibilities include:
• Verifying and processing claims for health services covered by the Health Equity Fund and medical services provided by the National Social Security Fund.
• Assessing the quality of services provided under the Health Equity Fund (HEF) and the Health Equity and Quality Improvement Project (H-EQIP).
